Finally, a new dA ID!

I really don't know what's going on with my drawing style, but I've lately just experimented a bit with a bit of a more cartoonish style and I guess some of it stuck to my current style.

Oh my oh my, now you might be wondering why the portrait of myself is looking so.. serious? Well you see, most of my ID's have all been SO HAPPY, but the truth is, when I draw, my facial expression is far from happy. Some of my friends even think I'm really mad when I sit by myself, drawing, which I'm not. It's just the face I make (unintentionally) when focusing!

So yeah, I thought it would be a bit fun to actually portray my real facial expression when I create stuff.

This drawing took a while, mostly because I was really picky about the colours. I wanted it to look as simple as possible but then I worked a bit over the top on the background, but I still kind of like it. C: The stuff in the background represent stuff that I'm a fan of. If you can point all the things out, you win an imaginary cookie~!

The idea was actually inspired by my first ID and my latest, and then I just used my creative side to make it happen I guess. (:
